A few years ago, I noticed something I haven’t been able to unsee: somewhere along the way, education stopped talking about improvement and started talking about innovation.
The word is everywhere: conference themes, strategic plans, grant proposals, product launches, and job titles. The more I heard the word, the more I wondered whether we all meant the same thing.
