Professor Peter Scott, President and CEO of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), was honoured to join the opening session of the 52nd Meeting of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) in Georgetown, Guyana, today. The meeting was opened by Dr Carla Barnett, Secretary-General of CARICOM, with the Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education of Guyana and Chair of COHSOD, delivering an address on the theme of education for life, purpose and Caribbean progress.
